At Edmonton Yellow Cab, our primary concern is the safety of our passengers, drivers, and personnel. As part of this philosophy, we operate a world-class preventative maintenance program for our fleet. Our southside location has a fully licensed maintenance facility with qualified mechanics and inspectors. Our commercial transport mechanics are authorized by the municipal and provincial governments to perform commercial and taxicab inspections.

Each taxicab in our fleet must pass a mechanical inspection, meter verification test, and a cosmetic inspection once a year. This process ensures that both optimum performance and professional image are upheld for our customers.

As part of our focus on the safety of our travellers and drivers, we have equipped each of our taxicabs with a leading-edge Global Positioning System (GPS). Travellers can have confidence that our dispatch control room is able to monitor the position of all our vehicles at all times.

Our drivers receive training certified by the Alberta Safety Council and request that passengers remember to wear seatbelts at all times.
